The Leader of Allegro String Quartet
The leader of the Allegro String Quartet, Oleg Geyer, has delighted audiences throughout the world for over 25 years.
A winner of numerous international competitions, and a guest - concertmaster of the Camerata Ducale Chamber Orchestra (Italy), he continues his successful career as a member of Florida Orchestra and a professor of violin at St.Petersburg College.
Oleg’s specialty is his versatility – his ability to perform, improvise and arrange music of all styles, ranging from classical to modern pop, is well known throughout the community.
Oleg can be booked solo, or can assemble a desired group of instruments for all occasion including private parties, weddings, receptions, any events ets.
Formed in 1993, the Central Florida based Allegro String Quartet, led by Oleg Geyer, has performed throughout the country, collecting rave reviews.
Comprised of members of Florida Orchestra, Allegro musicians are currently working on releasing their first CD consisting of music of all ages and stiles.
